Piozone
Three service areas

What we actually do

We work in three places where capability is usually missing: the skills to deliver, the paperwork to trade, and the structures that keep a community initiative alive. Each one is a full service with a named outcome.

Training and workshops

Facilitated sessions that leave a group able to do something it could not do the week before. We design the curriculum around your context rather than delivering a fixed course off the shelf.

What it includes
  • Scoping and needs analysis. A short discovery with the people who will attend, so the session answers their real problem.
  • A curriculum written for your context. Exercises, case material and language drawn from the sector you actually work in.
  • Facilitated delivery. In person or online, in workshops built around group work rather than slides read aloud.
  • Materials you keep. Handouts, templates and the facilitation plan, so your own people can run it again.
  • Follow-up. A review session to check what stuck and what needs reinforcing.

Company registration and banking

Entering the UK market from overseas is mostly a sequence problem. Do the steps in the wrong order and a bank declines you, or an address fails verification. We walk founders through the sequence and stay with them until the account is open.

What it includes
  • Structure advice before you file. Whether a limited company, a branch or a community interest company fits what you are trying to do.
  • Companies House incorporation. Name checks, SIC codes, articles, directors and persons with significant control, filed correctly the first time.
  • Registered office and correspondence. A compliant UK address, with post handled and forwarded.
  • Banking preparation and introductions. Getting your documentation into the shape UK banks expect before you apply.
  • Compliance groundwork. Identity and anti-money-laundering evidence, the confirmation statement cycle, and what HMRC will want and when.

Social development

Programmes designed with a community rather than for it. We help you find what the community will genuinely sustain, build it with them, and hand over something that keeps running after the funding round closes.

What it includes
  • Community consultation. Listening sessions and mapping, so the design starts from what people said rather than what a funder assumed.
  • Programme and platform design. The structure, the roles and the tools, as with the national volunteering platform we launched in Tunisia.
  • Volunteer mobilisation. Recruiting, briefing and retaining volunteers, and giving coordinators something manageable to run.
  • Inclusion and resilience work. Making sure the people usually left out of a programme are inside this one.
  • Measurement and handover. Indicators a funder will accept, and a handover pack so local partners own it.
How an engagement runs

Understand, equip, empower

The same three steps sit behind all three services. The content changes, the sequence does not.

01

Understand

We listen closely to your goals, your context and the constraints you are actually working inside, before proposing anything.

02

Equip

We deliver the training, the filings or the programme design, and the resources that go with them.

03

Empower

We hand over the capability and the materials, so progress continues long after we step back.

Before you get in touch

Questions we are asked most

Do you work outside the United Kingdom?

Yes. We are registered in England and Wales and we work with organisations worldwide. Training and consultations run online wherever you are; in-person delivery depends on the dates and the location, so raise it early.

Can you run a workshop for a group rather than an individual?

Group work is the normal case. Most of what we do is designed for a cohort, because the value comes from a team building the same capability at the same time. One-to-one consultations exist mainly for founders and programme leads who need a decision made before they commit a group.

How long does UK company registration take?

The Companies House filing itself is usually resolved within a few working days once the documentation is in order. Banking is the longer part and depends on the bank, your evidence and where the directors are resident. We tell you what the realistic range is for your situation at the consultation rather than quoting a headline figure here.

Are you a regulated adviser?

Piozone provides guidance, preparation and practical support with the registration and banking process. We are not a law firm and we do not provide regulated legal, tax or financial advice. Where a matter needs a regulated professional, we say so and help you brief them properly.

What does a piece of work cost?

Training and social development programmes are quoted against scope, because a half-day session and a twelve-month programme are not comparable. One-to-one consultations are booked and paid for on the booking page. Tell us what you are trying to do and we will give you a figure rather than a range.
